Phosphate is particularly effectively removed from the sea water, fresh water or pond water. Once bound phosphate cannot be removed. Even with a longer service life of the filter material no phosphate is transferred to the aquarium water. ATI phosphate stop is optimally suited for use in reef aquariums because it emits no pollutants to the water.
